If you are planning on getting outdoors, be sure to stop at one of our many community parks. There are a variety of different parks in our neighborhood – everything from parks with play structures, splash pads, basketball courts, and pavilions to beautifully manicured paseo walking paths.
Southern Highlands has multiple community parks that can be used for family gatherings, birthday parties, reunions or other special events. The complete list of parks and their corresponding amenities can be found below.

Reservable shade structures are available to Southern Highlands Community Association Residents for rental daily. These reservations are complimentary and allow the Association to guarantee a specified reserved area of the park, i.e. the pavilions and picnic tables. Non-reserved facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The non-reserved areas of the park remain open for use by the general public.
Use of the grass areas in the Southern Highlands community parks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are not available for reservation. Requests for park special events must be submitted for Board approval by filling out the Park Special Event Application Form below. If your request is approved, secondary information may be required (insurance, site plan, security plan, permits, etc.) as well as payment (utility fees and a security deposit).
