Think your home has what it takes to be the spookiest spot in Southern Highlands? It’s time to unleash your inner Halloween enthusiast and get decorating!

The Home Decorating Contest is open to all residents. Go creepy, creative, spooky or spectacular and transform your home into a Halloween masterpiece. Whether you create a haunted mansion, a graveyard of ghouls or a frightfully fun display, we want to see it!

Bragging rights and spooky prizes are on the line!

🥇 1st Place: $250 Amazon Gift Card
🥈 2nd Place: $150 Amazon Gift Card
🥉 3rd Place: $100 Amazon Gift Card

All prizes will be e-delivered to the winners.

Please keep decorations family-friendly. Vulgar or inappropriate decorations will not be accepted, as determined by Management.

Judging Criteria

Decorations will be judged by our community board of directors, and will be based on:

Originality & Creativity:

  • Does your home have a unique design?
  • Did you use creative yard placement and use of lights?

Quality & Level of Detail:

  • Is there an overall theme/story-line?

Eligibility:

  • All residents of Southern Highlands that are in good standing with the Community Association are eligible to enter the contest.
