The Southern Highlands Halloween Haunt Your Home Decorating Contest is open to all. Get creepy and creative as your out-boo your neighbors for Southern Highland’s Best Decorated Haunted Home bragging rights! Vulgar or inappropriate decorations will not be accepted. Management reserves this determination. All entries must be submitted by Friday, October 31st at 11:59 p.m.

Home Decorating Contest

Prizes are as follows:

1st: $250

2nd: $150

3rd: $100

Winners will receive an Amazon gift card e-delivered.

Judging Criteria

Decorations will be judged by our community board of directors, and will be based on:

Originality & Creativity:

  • Does your home have a unique design?
  • Did you use creative yard placement and use of lights?

Quality & Level of Detail:

  • Is there an overall theme/story-line?

Eligibility:

  • All residents of Southern Highlands that are in good standing with the Community Association are eligible to enter the contest.
