Semi-Annual Southern Highlands Yard Sale Information

The Southern Highlands Master Planned Community hosts annual spring and fall yard sales. Buyers can utilize the list and corresponding map below to locate participating communities.

7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

REQUEST PARTICIPATION

Neighborhoods with No Sub-Association

If you live in a neighborhood with no sub-association and wish to participate, please complete the form below to have your neighborhood identified on the website and on the community map.

Participation Form for Communities without a Sub-Association

Sub-Association Managed Neighborhoods

If you live in a gated sub-association and wish to participate, you will need to contact your sub-association’s management company or board for approval. Once your board has approved the event, they will arrange to open the gates for your community. (Golf course gated communities are not able to participate.)

Sub-Association Listing

ADVERTISING

We will advertise the event for you to host the sale at your home. Advertising mediums include Social Media, CraigsList, the LVRJ, and other online yard sale sites!

We will utilize a community map to direct buyers to the participating communities. This will also include a list of communities by name (not property address).


SIGNS & BANNERS

There are a limited number of yard sale signs & banners available for distribution on a first come, first serve basis. The request form with detailed information may be found below:

Sub-Association Board Members may request the usage of a free 2’x9′ vinyl yard sale banner to be placed at the entrance to their community.


SHREDDING & DONATION SERVICES

Sunday, March 24 | 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | SH Corporate Center Parking Lot

Mobile Shredding

Limited to 2 boxes per resident.

Shredding is only for paper. You do not need to remove:
• Paper clips
• Alligator clips
• Hanging file folders that have small metal hangers

Additionally, please do not bring:
• Large metal items (including 3 ring binders)
• Cardboard boxes
• Plastic bags

Donation Drop

Bring your gently used donation items to help support Opportunity Village, who will receive your donation to help raise funds for their charitable initiatives.
Tax receipts will be available upon request.
